Frozen To Freedom …..( Sorry To The ‘Scent Of Oblivion’ )

The lanes are crowded

The destination is distant

The journey is long

And I am alone

**

The rain is pelting

The heart is palpitating

He is smiling

And I am in love

**

The nights are short

The mornings are bright

The journey is pleasant

And I am in company

**

The life is droning

The acts are stanch

The destination is diminished

And I am chained

**

The lanes are crowded again

The destination is far still

The journey is exasperating

And I am free

**

For I love freedom so much

That him that I love

I wanted to be free

Even from him!!

**

And thus I am frozen to freedom…..

(I am sorry to someone - The LEADER, The Friend (perhaps, perhaps not.) Will miss the SHERing Jaana. Will be back. Some things are pulling back , for good, perhaps, perhaps not. )

The poem is lovely. nice cascading effect. and the pun - frozen to freedom. GREAT. I dont know what “ulterior” reason/sense lurks behind those letters. all rests on whats next. keep writing.

Allah nigehbaan (this is what you need right now, i reckon)

Hey ‘Jaana’, thanks so much for such treasured words. And specially the blessings of Lord.

And I am sorry for ‘editing’ the comment. Certain reasons. But I am so glad, that more importantly you understand. Thanks a lot.

And the scents in your poem got totally conveyed. I am obliged for the respect and concern you’ve shown. Honestly. [Dil se tola…..]

    “ Allah-Nighebaan“

ANd mickey, thanks, am glad you liked the poem, and cared to pour your feedback :)

    **Peace***
